Gretchen and the Pickpockets is a six-piece soul/jazz/rock band that features heavy horn lines and improvisation that started with siblings Gretchen and Mike Klempa. Based out of Boston, Gretchen and the Pickpockets have been active in the New England area since 2013. The Pork Low Mainers are an instrumental jazz trio comprised of University of New Hampshire music graduates who have been performing and teaching in New England for several years. The trio consists of Portsmouth native and Tommy Gallant Scholarship recipient, Max Logue on piano and guitar, Wolfeboro’s Kingswood High School music department head, Bobby Burns, on saxophone and Gardner “Tiger” Rulon-Miller on bass. Dueling Pianos is a massive "top of your lungs" sing along with all your friends. Two grand pianos are center-stage with a team of outrageously talented pianists that seem to know every song ever written. During the high-energy show, two piano players sit across from each other and trade songs as various sections of the audience are pitted against each other (men vs. women, country vs. rock etc.) Each show is different because it is all request. Audience members are regularly called up on stage for a bit of good humored fun. We dare you to not sing along!

The band was born 14 years ago in Central New Hampshire when three outcasts met on common ground for their love of the blues. Throughout school, they reminded active as a trio and picked up a local fan base as word spread around their small state. In 2009, a road trip landed the band in Mississippi where a college education’s worth of blues schooling took place for the next several years. This is when the band began hitting the road hard playing from San Antonio to Key West to Boston, and everywhere in between. Andy is a concert violinist and fiddler who has shared the stage with symphonies, pop stars and country luminaries. As bandleader for the nineties rock group Thanks to Gravity, Andy toured extensively with the likes of Guster, Train, Matchbox 20 and the Dave Matthews Band. He later toured with country singer Don Campbell, where he opened for country legends Willie Nelson, Randy Travis, George Jones and Charlie Daniels. He currently performs with classical improv group Aeterna Trio, and with master luthier Jon Cooper in the Americana mashup Chickenwire. Andy is also Lead Producer with new classical music label PARMA Recordings. He has worked with the Moravian Philharmonic in the Czech Republic, the Metropolitan Opera Children’s Chorus and the New England String Quartet, among others.
Andy was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2014 for Producer of the Year, Classical.
