Errol Strength and the Conscious Band, the heart and soul being born Jamaicans drums, bass, and lead singer is a Reggae Band that incorporates classical and modern sounds to convey a psychological relief through music. The band was first formed in the spring of 1985 and is based in Boston Massachusetts. Each of the band members brings a unique feel to music, all of them from different walks of life, though each sharing a genuine adoration for what is referred to as 'conscious music'. The band consists of 6 musicians including Errol Strength, the voice; Bobin Nicholson or "bassy" who's talent as a bass player has earned him the title; Tariq Nicholson, his son, and youngest member of the band is responsible for the melodic sounds of 2nd Piano; along with Tony Fowles the drummer, affectionately known as "drummie"; and Stephen Lamb, the guitarist and newest member of the band. The conscious band has expertly managed to form a group that not only loves the music they play but also the audience that listens. They are truly dedicated to providing a sound that is soothing, distinct and unforgettable.
