CREA founder Richard Smith continues to focus on concerts, festivals, fundraisers and community consulting for artists and events. He is a co-founder of First Night Portsmouth, JazzMouth, Portsmouth Blues Festival, Portsmouth Jazz Festival, Prescott Park Arts Fest, Market Square Day and The Music Hall, Richard has, during his 40-plus years operating CREA, served on more than 15 community non-profit boards and committees, including WUNH and the Pierce Island Committee. He also founded the legendary Harbor Arts Jazz Night series and New Hampshire’s Harbor Arts Museum. Other accolades include his role a producer of York, Maine’s 350th anniversary, the Portsmouth Jazz & Blues Festival, NH Folk Fest, NH Jazz & Blues Festival, the Comedy Xtravaganza, the St. Patrick’s Comedy Gala and the Upper Valley Heritage Fest.

For more than 15 years, comedian, booking agent and trivia host, Scott Langlois has served CREA clients as DJ and Event Consultant. Scott oversees the majority of our wedding, corporate, university and special events and has earned a loyal clientele with his passion for and knowledge of music as well as his vast networks of event planners, entertainers, hotels, function facilities, country clubs and restaurants. Musician and tour manager, Dan Mack brings new energy and ideas to CREA as an experienced booking agent. Having booked tours in clubs, festivals and colleges for The Michael Vincent Band, Dan brings his vast knowledge of music, promotion, tech needs and client services to CREA clientele. With our roster of jazz, folk, rock and classical groups plus comedians and family performing artists, Dan is actively booking clubs, restaurants, fairs and markets while also running the Modern Records Shop in Laconia.
